Tribute to Bill Coors

We lost a great man, a leader and a pioneer of the brewing industry, Bill Coors.

He lived to be 102 - a testament to his belief in health and wellness, a belief he promoted with his own family and shared with his “Coors Employee Family” through the first ever on-site corporate Wellness Center.

He accomplished much in his life, including developing the first ever Aluminum Can, which is used in every beverage industry in the world. Additionally, product quality was his passion and he was fierce in ensuring that only the finest beer was on tap. He cared about people AND he was one of our founders.  Without him this credit union wouldn't be here today.

Bill had a great sense of corporate culture and knew the importance of family. We have him to thank for bringing that sense of family to our organization. We owe him everything and are so grateful for his contribution to this credit union and community.

Our hearts and condolences go out to his and our Coors families.
