The outage started the afternoon of Friday, July 2nd, and went through late Tuesday, July 6th. We identified the issue and immediately worked with our partners to get the outage resolved as quickly as possible. On Friday, July 2nd, On Tap Credit Union’s phone system provider, which utilizes Kaseya VSA, was among the companies targeted in last week’s international cyber hacking event. Out of an abundance of caution On Tap immediately activated our incident response protocols and shut down our phone systems. Phone lines were restored on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021, after thorough security scans and tests were conducted and it was confirmed that On Tap Credit Union’s data was not compromised. On Tap Credit Union’s systems and data were not directly targeted and member data remains secure and protected.
