Recurring Payments

If you have recurring payments (anything that is currently being paid automatically with your debit or credit card) set up with your old card, you will need to arrange for an alternate payment method for payments due after 9/17/2017. After 10:00 p.m. MDT on 9/17/2017, no transactions will be approved on the old card number.

Recurring payments that are most commonly linked to debit and credit cards include, but are not limited to, gym memberships, cell phone bills, cable bills, utility bills, magazine bills, etc.

When will my new card arrive?

All members should receive their new cards by 9/18/2017. If you have not received your new card(s) by 9/18/2017 please call us at 303.279.6414.

Will my old card work on or after 9/18/2017?

No, your existing card will be deactivated at 10:00 p.m. MDT on 9/17/2017.

Will I keep my current PIN on my ATM / Debit card?

No, a new PIN will be issued and mailed to you separate from your card. PINs will be mailed prior to you receiving your card. If you have not received your PIN by 9/18/2017 please call us at 303.279.6414.

I have more than one card. How do I know which PIN goes with which card?

The last four digits of the card are located above your name and address on the PIN mailer.

What if I want to change my PIN?

You can change your PIN over the phone by calling 877.267.6914. Members will have the option to change their PIN at On Tap Credit Union Branches and ATMs later this year.

Will I still have my Scorecard Rewards points?

You will be able to keep all your current reward points, and we will be transferring your points to your new card.  You do not need to redeem your points.

Why are you changing to EMV cards?

EMV is more secure against fraudsters. Unlike magnetic stripe cards, every time an EMV card is used for payment the card chip creates a unique transaction code that cannot be used again.

You can rest assured that your accounts are protected from fraud 24/7 with OmniShield® fraud detection system. If fraudulent debit or credit card activity is detected on your account, you will be contacted by an OmniShield® representative to verify the transaction. This is a valuable tool to help protect the security of your account.

If suspicious activity is detected, a representative from will call, text or email you depending on the contact information they have on file. They will identify themselves as the card member security department on behalf of On Tap Credit Union. They will ask you for your date of birth or ZIP code to verify your identity. They will not ask you for your entire card number if they call you. Never give a caller your full account number or card number — it could be a scammer!

If you miss the call and call them back, they may ask for additional information to verify your identity, including a case number, your card number or the last four digits of your Social Security number for security purposes. If you are not sure if the call was from OmniSield® or are suspicious in any way, you can call the credit union instead.

Please make sure that your contact information is always up to date so we can contact you quickly if the need arises.
